>Why do you think rejecting femininity means adopting masculinity
Not what I said. A nun rejects her sexuality but is not in any way masculine. What I said is that a female politician mimics the powerful poses and mannerisms of a man. But that women can only mimic the appearance of men, they can never experience the full irrational driving destructiveness and egoism of which men are capable. The fact remains that women cannot rape--and this fact alone says everything.
>Femininity and masculinity is a sexual dichotomy placed on top of humanity.
Placed on top? Very strange wording, it is not placed onto anything the dichotomy is natural to humans and animals.
>Femininity comes down to using a womb to reproduce, everything else is extraneous, so I guess just not reproducing would be a rejection of femininity
Feminity is way more than using a womb. Ever seen the way a woman holds out her hand? Or laughs? Even simple things display it. A woman who doesn't reproduce remains a woman.
>You're mistake is that you mistaking social ideas for true nature
Our social ideas are not disconnected from nature. It has been observed again and again that women prefer a politics that is local, stable, and egalitarian. Among chimpanzees, female chimps have longer lasting, more stable relationships with other female chimps, whereas male chimps tend to have more instrumental relationships, and are more power seeking.
The lower male chimps band together against the most powerful male chimp, and the males try to win the collective support of the female chimps in their power struggles. The women have more collective power due to their social bonds which they use to try and control and limit the aggressiveness of the male chimps.
>A dress isn't inherently masculine or feminine,
I never said a dress is inherently feminine.
>When a woman dresses in ways that cover up the elements of her that advertise her fertility (hips, breasts, shape) she is rejecting the sexual element (female) of her
The distinction between men and women is so much more than just a difference in fashion. I don't know why you're reducing the difference to it.
And your wording here is revealing, that a female politician denies her sexuality--i.e as you say hides the elements that advertise "fertility"--but the same cannot be said of a male politician. Since the male sexual form is itself the powerful, public form.
>Also just because Hillary clinton wears pantsuits doesn't mean she's dressed like a man.
Pantsuits are made for women, but they're masculine in the sense that not only is a suit associated with men, but that a pantsuit is typically free from all ornamentation--is simple and functional. I.e Male.
