Why is he associated with fascism? Is the ideology that different from what it was in the past, or am I missing something? So far I've read "The Sailor Who Fell from Grace with the Sea" and "The Sound of Waves" and I haven't noticed any hate for women or any group distinguished by primarily biological traits.
It's like Mishima highlights worthy qualities rather than worthy nationalities, no misogyny etc to be seen. What am I not getting?
