Ok so I get that leto wanted to breed siona because she has the genes that prevent people with psychic powers from seeing what she does and that will prevent humanity from being enslaved by psychics like himself a second time BUT doesn't he realize the second after he's dead the bene tleilax will send assassins after her and all the other left over atreides? If he really wanted to save the human race he would have exiled them to a colony in the middle of nowhere instead of leaving them on arrakis to die in the ensuing chaos.

I just finish Dune. Great read, but should I read other books? I started the second one and the quality drop make rethink about finish the Frank Herbert saga
