I need some "uplifting" literature. We have depressing /lit/ wiki, and Russian /lit/ (which is usually pretty depressing), but nothing for uplifting.
I need this shit, /lit/, help me out.

I'd like to know if you have any references, fictional or otherwise, on the subject of what is fake.

False, fake, frauds, lies, deception, misguidance, treachery, charlatanism, tricks and so on.

I'm talking about things like F for Fake, movie by Orson Welles. Or the paintings of Magritte. It can be of any sort, I just want to get a pile of books on it for a preliminary state of research and brainstorming.

Secularism is a blanket term including liberal Christians, Deists, agnostics, atheists, and anti-theists.
And what Christians would call pagans, heretics, etc. Once known as Freethinker.

Do you listen to anything while you do it? Say, a movie, or music?
If so, what do you listen to, and why?
If not, why not?

I've actually found that, out of all the music I've tried out, "gangster rap" helps me focus on writing the best.

Hey, /lit/, I need help.
I can't think of a god damned name for my main character. I have the supporting characters all named just fine, but any name I think of for my main man just feels wrong.
There's a few details about him I haven't worked out yet, but he's pretty average in every regard.
