It's amazing how /lit/fags try and deny this easily observable fact. The Iliad is just a Bronze Age fantasy epic. The only thing that separates it from shit like Star Wars, the Avengers, or anime is time. In fact, its more anime than capeshit: filled too the brim with gorgeous superpowered hunks, twinks, and twunks fighting each other, and occasionally gods, with magical weapons and armor. And in-between, giving passionate speeches about love, pride, glory, camaraderie, and friendship.
