/lit/ - Literature

Can /lit/ help me find any good lovecraft style books? Or anything really that has to do with cosmic horror, evil gods, other dimensions, ect
preferably horror

Not clear on whether this should be in /adv/ or in /lit/, but its clearly a literary matter so I came here.

I'm entering a stage of things at which I want to start looking into having my work actually get published. I'm wondering if /lit/ can give me clues on how to do this, recommend any particular publishing firm, tell me how the whole process actually works, etc.

Because my work is written expressly for the purpose of selling for money, I can't post it here or talk about it in any more than basic detail.

I will say that both H.P. Lovecraft and William Hope Hodgson's works have influenced mine.

>Lovecraft - cosmic indifference, mind blasting nasties pulling strings from other dimensions, etc

>Hodgson - Feelings of weird horror, stories taking place primarily on/around the sea etc. Some limited conventional supernaturalism.
