I want to know everything there is to know on the topic of the conflict between the political philosophies of Henry Kissinger and Noam Chomsky. Who is "more correct" with respect to their thoughts on world order, the morality of certain state actions, practical necessity, the relationship between the private sector and state policy, etc. Detailed explanations, screencaps, articles, and book reccs are welcome. Also, have these two ever directly debated or even acknowledged/responded to one another with respect to the validity of their respective worldviews?

reading this guys books and actually...he's a midwit. if this is the guy who has everyone's ear, are world leaders just actual retards? i realize leadership and intelligence are separate, but still...

Is there anything worth reading from him?

Let's get this transcribed. I propose we divide it into 40 page sections for 10 anons to transcribe. ITT claim a 40 page section (0ff, 41ff, ... 360ff) to transcribe. When you are done link pastebin/s with the text to this thread or a replacement. About a week, two tops, seems a reasonable timeframe.

Try to preserve the same page numbers Kissinger has in the original. Add the page number at the start and end of each page's transcribed text so pastebin doesn't ruin the formatting.

The endgoal would be a searchable PDF and Word (or equivalent) doc to make this text more accessible to scholarship.

Please bump this thread and/or make new OPs.If this takes off, we will also need an editor and someone to contact Dr. Kissinger and make sure he does not object. This project is intended solely as a not-for-profit benefit to the study of Kissinger's work and the history of international relations.

I gotta do some reading on some authors that I find rather repulsive to my taste and can't really bring myself to read their books, and if I do I immediately forget what it was about.
How do you remember the content of all the books you've read and how do you motivate yourself to read something that you don't particularly enjoy /lit/?
