The sequel is almost as good (almost better in some ways) but there's a really odd and out of place lesbian sex scene between the protagonist (who is herself otherwise heterosexual) and her handmaiden that's written actually erotically and voyeuristically as opposed to sterilely and objectively the way Barlowe handled the disgusting degenerate vile pleasures of villainous demons doing it.

I HOPE HE GETS OFF HIS FUCKING ASS AND WRITES THE CONCLUSION
