Start reading Kenneth Grant's Typhonian Trilogies, OP.
He took Lovecraft serious ( he claims even if Lovecraft might not believe his own dreams to have any factuality to it, it doesn't mean that is really the case ).
The Old Ones have given us the keys to understand reality.
Or some claim even Grant serves them and his books are a way for us to become food for the Old Ones.
Who knows.

DON'T read them all at once, you'll quickly be saturated as his writing overlaps quite a bit (pic related)

Instead go and read "The Weird "by VandeMeer, a collection of "weird" horror stories from before, during, and long after Lovecraft with about 1100 pages, that should give you many authors to start

And have a look at Ligotti and Barron Laird
I've recommended it on /lit/ before but it didn't pick up... libgen has an epub
