Anon, it warns of not caving to group thinking, and of not warping your own beliefs out of fear. That's never a bad thing to make people aware of. Any book that has made at least a few people step back and think about that has significantly bettered the world.

People who, after having watched 20 videos by TheAmazingAtheist decide to define themselves by, and feel superior to others because of their belief that there is no such thing as god, which is of course a valid point of view, but not something to get arrogant about.

While I don't have a problem with the position itself, I have made the observation that while religious people argue that 'this is their view, and here is why they believe that it is the truth', atheits tend to just proclaim that 'this is the truth, and if you don't agree then you are subhuman trash!', and that kind of bullshit seriously pisses me off.

It's the /phil/-fags. Most of them are 13-16 year old angsty teens who come to /lit/ looking for someone intelligent enough to understand them. If mods deleted the countless nihilism threads we have had every day recently, then there wouldn't be a problem now. But as it stands, shit discussion attracts shit posters, and this board is soon going to lose any similarities it may have had with the /lit/ from 2 years ago.
