Is there an e-reader that is suitable for science/class books ? I heard that the kindle is not that good when it comes to pdfs/university books for some reason.

What do you guys think is the best e-reader?
I read the FAQ and there's good info there but i'd like some more personal/subjective opinions

I definitely want e-ink, and the kindle seems to have the best looking text from what I've read... but what do you guys think? I don't want to get screwed over by amazon DRM or something

If this is a tired question on this board I apologize in advance. Do you think with the existence of digital books, there's any reason to keep hard copies, save for the novelty of reading from real paper?

I'm not saying that old books should be disposed of, but it makes me sad to think that all of the print lining my shelves is basically useless unless the apocalypse is nigh, especially when I can fit a library on something the size of my fingernail.

Yeah, I played with a few genuine E-readers that my friends have. My phone also pulls double duty as an E-reader. I can darken the screen so that it doesn't hurt my fucking eyes. It's also very clear.

This is an E-Reader. One of the more expensive ones by Sony, but they all basically follow this form factor. Cheap knockoff E-readers are like one hundred US dollars, I don't know what that is in your currency, and I'm too lazy to go convert it.
