it's true, look everywhere else on social media. laughing at men who are down is just part of the culture now and the best part is if they ever say anything in defense you can call them an incel or a virgin and then laugh when it upsets them. is anyone else only happy when they completely unplug and focus on books?
It doesn't matter what I'm reading or how much I'm reading if I come on /lit/ to discuss it I end up with zoomer meme replies or people acting like I have bad taste (while never giving a suggestion of what 'good' taste is for them). Obviously I can't go to any other place for discussion on the internet because it's censored to fuck.

how do I find peace to just enjoy reading for what it is, but also fill the void left by having nobody irl to talk to about it?
