This book is like crack to me

I recently read the prolegomena and am now moving onto this. Holy hell it's long. Does anyone have a suggestion for a good abridged reading of the work? I'm sure that when Kant is taught in history of philosophy courses, only selections from the CPR are assigned.

My experience with Kant (in the prolegomena and the groundwork) is that he requires a slow and deliberate approach if anything is to be gleamed from the text. That becomes a bit difficult to do for 8-900 pages.. I'm reading the text over the summer to prepare for a course but am also working full time, so I need to cut it down a bit. Sorry for the blog post ;-]

Estoy leyendo a Kant finalmente. Lo increible de esto es que incluso estoy entendiendo lo que dice el maldito libro. Nunca pense en adentrarme por completo en el Idealismo Aleman sinceramente. Todo se debe a unas lecturas previas de Descartes y Hume, que por cierto me dejaron inconforme ya que un sistema filosofico optaba por el uso de la razon y el otro sobre el uso de la experiencia. Digamos que con Kant, ambos caminos se cruzan y se complementan entre si.
Por cierto, estoy consultando la edicion de pic related.

I feel as though Kant had broken a dogmatic spell from me. Can't believe I'm actually understanding it. It is also quite comfortable to read compared to Hegel.

if i just read the prolegomena, will they catch me?
