A "pseud" is a person who profusely pontificates upon topics while only offering a shallow "take." Frequently, the "pseud" will regurgitate the offerings of popular thinkers such as Sam Harris or Stephen Pinker. However, a given "pseud" may sometimes attack intellectuals of the aforementioned ilk along a common and predicable line; ironically without the realization that they are arguing on the very level they assume themselves to be above.

All criticism directed toward the eminent Dr. Jordan B. Peterson is on the level of pseudery.
It is well known that he, above all others, is the patrician's choice of intellectual heavy hitters. Zizek--the same.
