the problem with joyce and beckett's stand is that if you accept to renounce the divine in art, you'll have -first to be careful not to reintroduce it and celebrate language and aesthetics as a new faith -secondly (that's a more vivid issue) stick to your first and innocent intuition and not indulge yourself in postmodernist irony
