I can sum logical positivism and analytic philosophy for you: we want language to be precise, but it is imprecise in many areas, just because and already people like Plato and Aristotle knew it. Why the fuck anyone would read those boring books? Is analytic philosophy just a waste of life?

Is poetry an attempt to break rules?

Is poetry an elaborate system of rules and propositions that functions only when all parts follow?

How does poetry fall in line with 'language games'?

"Whereof we cannot speak, thereof we must remain silent" Is poetry only 'good' when it recognizes its own inadequacies. If so, where is its meaning if it is useless --outside of proclaiming its uselessness?
