Why is this fucking piece of trash loved by so many people? I literally just engaged in a physical fight with a friend who loves this garbage of a book just because I kept laughing when he said it was his favorite book.

Infinite jest? More like Infinite Jerk off session

When does it get good? 100 pages in now. I'm enjoying some passages but mostly it just reads like a weird movie. I'm not even American.
