stop trying to revive a troll
But if you're serious (since some people were denigrating STEM as a whole anyway), it's a relative situation; good artists tend to be abreast of scientific discoveries (e.g. Goethe, even Nabokov with lepidoptery) and good scientists are often rather cultured (e.g. Oppenheimer), even if specialization has made the fields more tribalistic (thanks Sokal!)
