Just read Kant, then Schopenhauer and Kierkegaard - maybe Nietzsche and then move on to Heidegger - then realize that Schopenhauer is the greatest mind of all time and study him relentlessly

Do not read the Schopenhauer book. It's shit. I'm saying this out of love for Schopenhauer. It's really a shitty presentation of his philosophy. His most important work "The world as will and idea" isn't that hard to read, but so much more fulfilling.
If you are to chose, go with Hume first since he is important to German philosophy, which we all know, is best philosophy.
