Push the fat guy

Is happyness the ultimate goal in life?

Let's say that you've decided to push down the man... would you steal his wallet first? Let's say that before pushing him you can simply take it (it was slipping out of his back pocket), so no violence is involved and he won't ever notice. Also let's assume that you know he is a lonely man without a cause, so those money would go whoever will find his body and whoever will check his house. Is it still wrong to do it?
I mean, does it really make a difference?

Would anyone else not pull the switch or push the man? There's just something different about actually causing the death, even though I would be saving net lives. I don't want that burden on me, and as an individual I think I have a right to take care of myself in this situation over the unfortunate workers/fat guy, and I don't want to have their/his death on my hands mentally, legally, and emotionally.
