Why did they both seem to show up so unprepared? I know it was a while ago, but this is still bothering me. Peterson's points seemed like what would happen if a high schooler just googled "why communism is wrong" and copied the first results. Zizek made zero responses to what Peterson actually said and just rambled about a bunch of nonsense

The thing I've found interesting is, how the two speakers were incessantly quoting Dostoevsky as if Dostoyevsky's views are some sort of ultimate moral ground.

Do you think Dostoevsky himself could have cater his views to this degree of importance if he lived in this day? He surely would have gone on to debates, and then the next day someone also might have posted a video titling 'X DESTROYS Dostoevsky'.
