I just realized I've never read any of the fantasy books aimed a adults; I've only been reading ya books all my life - such as Percy Jackson, Harry Potter, Dresden Files, Mistborn, Visual Novels, manga, and a plethora of chinese and japanese light or webnovels.
If I wanted to read something with more substance or depth, something aimed at adults, where should start? And please don't day Tolkein, I hate his shit
