I don't believe anyone who posts on /lit/ has seriously read his work, but I caught wind of this through youtube recommendations on review compilations.

While I haven't and probably won't bother reading this in my life I found their critiques amusing.

Apparently the protagonist uses a school shooting to get pity sex, and in general lives up to those old nihilistic, witty, and with a sick sense of humor type memes.

I like Butterfly, but perhaps that's my general affinity for bugs talking. Isn't everyone allergic to questioning their own conclusions though? If we aren't grounded in anything ever our heads would overinflate and pop off our bodies.

Which verses? I'll admit I'm a touch unread. The Sermon on the Vine seems fairly fine with the idea that certain verses can be discarded in the future though.

That sounds like you're right on the cusp of taking off. That sounds like it'd be a stressful time. Sometimes I think I should probably savor this kind of low stress but bairly sustainable present level of success forever so I don't have to worry about a larger fanbase.

It's still kind of cozy where I'm at, but I know I need to start working on more. Good luck with your novel and short story compilation anon.

I'd recommend the Dao de Jing and The Enchiridion. Both fairly short and approachable works, and lots of resonance.
