Depends on your goals.

What do you want to do with your day job? If you want to write for journals or magazines or the like, you probably don't need to. Keep writing, try to publish and meet as many people in the industry as you can. Maybe finish and get your BA, just so you have a degree. Believe it or not, this can make a difference.

If you want to teach, go for it. I got my MFA a year ago, and I managed to fall into a job adjuncting at [redacted] college. The pay is shit, and I had to move to a different city, but I love the work and am keeping my eyes open for a full time position. I also intend to shoot for a PhD. Be prepared to go all of the way if you do this; a BA is basically permission to keep studying and not much else. Also consider if you can PAY for school. Debt sucks.

Don't assume that going to school for a BA will magically make you a better reader/writer. Education in the humanities is all about being proactive. Find a mentor and squeeze as much knowledge and help from him or her as you can. Get involved in literary magazines. Go drinking with your peers at least twice a week, even if they're pretentious twats. And above all, LISTEN. You won't learn shit if you think you're the most literate fucker since Harold Bloom. Studying literature for a career is actually a lot of hard work. The courses may be easy, but you only get as much as you put in.

Professor here.

Wikipedia is useful as a jumping off point for research. If you're going into a topic you don't know much about, or if you need a refresher course on the basics of your subject it's a good place to begin. Plus, some of the better articles offer links to legitimate citations, which you CAN use. Some of these are digital (during my Grad school days I once used a digital copy of some of Aristotle's writings that I found through wikipedia), but even if the citations only reference books, you can often use the citation info to track down a copy for further research.

Also, stop trying to have the internet write your final for you.
