I used to like reading literature books, but now I cant seem to enjoy it anymore, it seems like too much effort for too little gain going through hundreds of pages. Sometimes I like to read poetry, because it is shorter and requires less attention, but I usually get filtered.

why are automotive books so expensive? it's unironically a racket
i'm trying to find a few automotive history books and they're always so rare because the publisher or author decides that they're only gonna print 5000 copies and charge an exorbitant price, around the $800 mark for each copy
this is the case with nearly every single book

I made the horrible mistake of reading the sequel. Turns out that both books could easily be condensation in a single book with about 600 pages or less. I could've read so many other things that I wanted that week, but now I just feel burned out.
