How does /ssfg/ feel about writing classes?

Everything is reactionary by todays standards.

I actually think I might be getting worse as time goes on.
I remember three years ago I could belt out 4k words a day that weren't half bad and now I struggle to start a story.

Also my characterization and dialogue have not improved, I think I might just go the JK rowling method and have every conversation result in someone stating a problem, someone giving their gut response and then a third party upstaging them.

Alright anons it's pretty much universally agreed that historians are the absolute best fantasy writers but what field of history should one be studying?
