DTGTF is a great book, however it is definitely not a good introduction to Hoppe's austro-libertarianism as it heavily relies on some prior knowledge and understanding of austrian economics and Rothbardian ethics and Hoppe lays those out in ATOSAC and EAEOPP so starting with them is pretty much a must. Although, I do have to point out that his ATOSAC is probably his worst and weakest work as it is somewhat poorly written and his writing style there is not yet mature, it is still quite an important read. Hoppe has just been smeared by his opposition and, even worse, by pseudo-libertarians a-la i want gay faggots to smoke weed lmao, such as the liberalalas in the LP. It doesn't matter how methodolocally he has attacked and destroyed national socialism and italian fascism for them, they do not rely on logic and do not believe in freedom. For them it doesn't matter that he was one of the first people in the 90s to call out the natsoc tendencies within the paleocon movement. "Progressives"(aka communists) are batshit insane and they want you either enslaved or dead.
