On the personal and social level, obviously people need greater frameworks of morality, but that doesn't negate the exploitation of working class people and the misery associated with it. Hedonism is a product of liberalism, the Soviet Union did not tolerate it. It's also something that the DSA/Jacobin types place at a premium.
