Does worthless consooming still apply to buying books? I have managed to stop my previous consooming habit of collecting action figures on the advice of /pol/ and have been saving a ton of cash. But i find myself still ordering at least 6-8 books a month off Amazon Prime. Even when the book is available used and cheaper from a private seller i still always go for the Prime option to get next day delivery. I have stacks of brand new books sitting all over the floor as there is no more room on my shelving units. My wife has tripped over a pile of them and is complaining about the number of books lying around because we have a toddler and she cant watch him if he goes and helps himself to the books.

I know most here love books but do you purchase actual physical copies of books or read everything digitally? I've tried kindle i just can't take it. Is what i'm doing still considered to be pathetic consoomerism or is it fine if it's books we are buying?
