Readers of /lit/, I come with a problem that maybe you could help me solve.
When reading, I often find lines I love: lines that read well in my head or are otherwise brilliant or beautiful. Because I read majorily on my e-reader (a Kobo Aura) I simply highlight them and go on reading. However, the trouble is, my Kobo is old, and I prefer it to newer models, since it has a convenient SD card slot for easy book transfer.
The Kobo, being old or the software simply being the problem, sometimes resets everything. Reading spots, what books are finished, and my highlights. I am simply terrible at rereading fiction, and I often can't "re-discover" lines that are of note to me, or scan to find them as I did before.
With all that being said, I have considered writing down the lines physically. However, I write exclusively in cursive (it's how I learned) and I am additionally, left handed. My writing is iredeemable.
Storing them on my computer or phone seems a little too mechanical as well. So I ask you: how would you store lines that mean a great deal to you? How would you stockpile keepsakes from your hours of reading?

Thanks for reading, and have a good one.

Writing and also having depression is fucking ass.
I have zero ideas anymore and zero motivation, I force good literature down my throat constantly, but everything is like a chore. I know I had the motivation, I know all of this is unnatural and won't be me in time, but as it stands now everything to do with writing feels most alien.

My friends and I used to go on /b when we were in middle school and look at the funny memes. We’d also watch gore vids in /gif and make nigger nigger shitposts. It’s been ten years and I’ve had a lot of laughs, pretty happy with my free 4chan experience.
