do you get to experience the power process?

Does it depress anyone else to know that we live in a society ruled by stupid people who jerk off to imaginary laws, who think that these laws are divinely inspired (still yet to be interpreted by feeble humans, with their flawed sense of reason) and immune to scrutiny. These laws are to be enforced indiscriminately and leave no space for motivation or interpretation to be a considerate factor in determining the severity (or lack there of) of the "crime" being committed?

Okey, so what? He killed 3 people and injured many more... Did you fucking READ his manifesto? In a city-state run by philosopher kings, he would had the chance to make his case in front of learned, and thoughtful men. Ultimately he would have been awarded The Nobel Peace Prize and had statues made of him. They would write stories of him, incorporating him into their mythos; of the man who saved us from the impending doom of technological disaster by making hard decisions that jeopardized and ended, not only his, but many innocent (innocent insofar that they were not knowing of what their, seemingly, innocuous actions would ultimately lead to) peoples lives.
