Why is it that about 90% of female readers ages 15-30 make their reading choices based on which books look prettiest? They make up about 50% of the total industry book sales, buying all the shitty YA fantasy/woke feminist retellings/Tranny romance novels.

How the hell did we go from genre readers reading Agatha Christie, Simenon, Philip K Dick, Frank Herbert, Ursula Le Guin, etc to thinking that brainlets like Brandon Sanderson and Stephen King are intimidating because they write 'adult' books?
