AP Language will base essays/question mostly around:

1. Style/Format Reasoning (Fiction and non-fiction)
2. Open theory-crafting (Open prompt stuff)
3. Comprehending an argument/providing a rebuttal or why you'd agree

AP Literature is generally:

1. Deeper knowledge and use of literary devices
2. Understanding multiple genres of writing (Usually fictional)
3. Comprehension of deeper meanings/"how does the prose show it"

This is how I remember it.
