There's nothing smart about Invisible Cities, Calvino is a hack. But that's just my opinion.

I'd understand if you don't want to respond but I'm curious why Molloy sticks out as a favorite to you over the other two in the trilogy. Is there anything in particular? Beckett is a pretty punishing read: do you get a kind of enjoyment out of trying to work the strands of thought together? Do you like being reminded about grotesquery, infirmity, futility?
