Everyone has a bias. McAlevey’s book avoids mentioning anything about the IWW, still promotes the DNC as a distinct left we can rely on and thinks capitalism can be tamed. The IWW want one big union with the aim of abolishing wage slavery (you get more of their side from Metanoia). Wolff is a Marxian economist, but the gist of that book is that a specific kind of co-op would be really ideal. Doesn’t suggest how to get it, but I’d wager he would side with the IWW fast track method to legalized unionism.
