>brother is an beginning(art-school) artist and good looking
>has multitude of women
>doesn't feel affection to none of them
>start feeling for this new one and confides that to me
>as a book reader, with prescient knowledge I tell him it won't be any good
>he just came in, devastated, and told that she dates some scumbag writer(it's Lithuania, so he is 100% hack) by whom, in a quick facebook checkup, I find that she makes awful poetry which main quality is baby philosophy
>she has written a poem on her facebook page like 3 weeks ago, the same time my brother was meeting her

I tell him to read books so he would not be used by such a succubi, but he doesn't listen. Now I hope he does, though.

Books for him to get over it?

Does anyone else feel a sort of listless malaise after you finish a book? I feel so down in the dumps every time I finish a book and it's unrealistic for me to constantly read.

How do I write female first-person narrators?

Last time I tried at a workshop, one lady said she was surprised when she found out the narrator was a girl, apparently the voice was too masculine.

What does that mean? How do women think compared to a man?
