>Two ideas are opposed — not concepts or abstractions, but Ideas which were in the blood of men before they were formulated by the minds of men. The Resurgence of Authority stands opposed to the Rule of Money; Order to Social Chaos, Hierarchy to Equality, socio-economico-political Stability to constant Flux; glad assumption of Duties to whining for Rights; Socialism to Capitalism, ethically, economically, politically; the Rebirth of Religion to Materialism; Fertility to Sterility; the spirit of Heroism to the spirit of Trade; the principle of Responsibility to Parliamentarism; the idea of Polarity of Man and Woman to Feminism; the idea of the individual task to the ideal of ‘happiness’; Discipline to Propaganda-compulsion; the higher unities of family, society, State to social atomism; Marriage to the Communistic ideal of free love; economic self-sufficiency to senseless trade as an end in itself; the inner imperative to Rationalism.

>Here is how my modern liberal bias is represented in my research.

Just as Communists portrayed everything through the lens of Class Struggle, so too do modern academics portray everything through the lens of racial equality. It is tiring.

Nobody really thinks Trump is an authoritarian figure, if they do then they are completely ignorant of history and of what authoritarianism entails. He is the last, desperate gasp of Liberalism and may be die with it.

I read Yockey after Spengler and much of it was encouraging.

Imperium, Yockey was a Spenglerian and continued the conclusion of his thought.

The way man has integrated technology and the means by which he engages it has been damaging, especially when viewed from the lens of the late 1800s and early 1900s in which he operated. We have gone from one polar extreme of man being used as little more than raw material to fuel the machine with blood, sweat and labor to the other of man being almost completely passive and largely unable to understand the technology we use. Not to mention the complete dependence many of us have on it to live.

To say he hates industrialization and the order it has created makes it sound like he is a quack like Ted Kaczynski, which he is not. The command over the natural world and its resources, be it the huge mining and building operations which the Ancient Egyptians did or the huge temples build by Ancient Indians are no different than the mechanized projects we erect today. It is simply the end of part of a High Culture.

Having followed the previous thread, my concern is that this would only result more boomer-tier conservatism and not affect any real difference in the respective volkgesit, zeitgeist or any related areas.

How do you assuage those concerns? Will you discuss works by Yockey for example? As some of what he wrote about is deeply connected to what you are attempting. Same as Thomas Carlyle and many others.

>>the west has le... fallen
>2024 and still counting
He literally said a better title would be the completion or fulfillment of the West. The negatively translated title put too much emphasis on an aspect of his thought that was only there in part.

We have a new Culture, one in which television/radio has become the central and only artistic theme. For good or for ill, we have nothing in our world, or in history, that comes close to the reach, the support, the sheer resources it consumes to produce and of course the massive profits and returns one gets, be it fame, money or influence.

Read Imperium, it complements Spengler and Schmitt's work very well, as well as Carlyle and a few other earlier thinkers.

Given what is happening in the world, more and more people are seeing it as reasonable and a solution. They may wish to call it something else, dress it up in another name but at the end of the day it will be Fascism.

Yockey called it the Age of Authority.
