What's the best possible way to react to the howling suffering, injustice, randomness and pain of this world? I'm certainly not one who believes that's all there is, but it's a big enough part of life to ensure that any functional and actualized person must contend with it forthright.

So, how do you contend with it? Stoicism? Faith? Aggression? Pessimism? I am looking for books that answer this age old question in the best way. What is your way?
