I was skeptical going into this because As I Lay Dying had gone way over my head as a teen, but I'm glad I dove in. That moment when I pieced together what was going on structurally was really cool; I appreciate the puzzle Faulkner put together.

I was very tepid about this through the opening section, but I've warmed up to it. Faulkner writes some really beautiful sentences, and I admire the audacity of the structure.
