The problem is not about not knowing how to, but having to in the first place.
There are appropriate times for short replies, but some people are barely capable of using anything beyond them.
I have a friend with whom I communicate in a way I consider proper, and he writes the same way as I. Older folks that I know & have smartphones write that way, too.
Some people are just slow, way slower than I see they could've been, and the pain is in having to deal with them.

I can almost sense the antiintellectualism permeating the world, like a thick smog in the air. People are becoming more retarded, and there is no cure in the foreseeable future.
