I am a woman and do not read female authors (outside cute childrens lit like Frances Burnetts secret garden or at most the aspie-Bronte romance, tho that's hardly above faplit). That's about what women can acomplish. Cute, inoffensive phantasy for young minds. Sometimes looking for serious books on political issues or history I come across an interesting title, just to close the tab with cringe when faced with it.
