I wrote that over two years. When I wrote, though, I wrote ten pages a day.

The entire novel is made of subplots. Each person who speaks has a story of his own and a world to match it. I've set everything completely impossible to bring up aside, and I put the most minor interesting bits into the intermissions.

It's a real-life place, so I never had issues with geography.
