Any advice on gaining readers? I'm not finished with the novel, but would like some opinions of part 1 and 2 before actually hitting the publish button.
The only people who accepted my offer were boomer women, and none of them had notes beyond "that was sad" or "that was funny"

Not great. I've been writing a novel since about 2014, and am finishing its final part now.
But, as we know, being an accursed SWM means a vast majority of publishers want nothing to do with you, and only if you've written about the BIPOC struggle and the dangers of white supremecy, which I haven't.
So I've been thinking about self publishing, but that seems like such a waste of my time...
It's rather disheartening.
