The vampire book is going to be pushed first. I prefer the space opera go first but writing it was the time needed to learn HOW TO write so it makes sense he newer work is of a higher quality. Mentor pushed the vamp book in front of her own publisher and her reply was ultimately: “this is really good and the writer has their own distinct voice but I don’t epresent horror/vamp/supernatural” so xmas break will be spent pounding out a query letter. Said mentor is going to help polish it when I’m done googling : how do I query letter!” And fumbling around with it. Both she and her husband are published authors and doing well so I trust their advice. I don’t work again until the 2nd so As soon as I can get the query squared away im going to put a hurting on this jetpack story. It’s half done and the story and characters are established so now I can cut loose and dump in a shit ton of action To bring it home and deliver this new “fuck you” level twist ending I came up with.

In the distant future, mankind lives away from Earth within the utopian space station, Algo. With all their needs and wants care for by a “Mother” an advanced A.I. And The Forever Society, an order of super scientists which created all of it, the lives of those aboard the megastation are existences of abundance and chemical inebriation. The main character, a girl named Bethesda who rides jet packs for sport begins to suspect things aren’t right behind the veil of the perfection.

When forces beyond her control draw her into the dealings of the Forever Society, Bethesda will find herself set on an adventure across new worlds and dimensions to protect Algo and those she cares for.
