The original quote is too large with its examples, but honestly, if it was shorter, it'd be the type of wisdom he criticizes.

Wether you mean it in a positive or in a negative way, it's false. What about Nietzsche, Wittgenstein, Heidegger, Foucault, Deleuze or even marxist and neo-marxist philosophers like Lukacs, Adorno, Agnes Heller or Zizek?
