Some anon praised this book so I googled it, seemed interesting, but reading it I feel I'm lacking the groundworks for many of this to make sense, or understand the impact of it.

This book may have saved my life. It helped me lift away a terrible weight that was burdening my soul. It has etched itself deep within my thoughts. And yet i would be very cautious upon recommending it to another reader, especially if they're fairly young.
What was /lit/'s experience with Michelstaedter? And what did get out of it?
