the inherent issue with Goodreads and IMDB and similar sites, is that people only rate what they choose to watch/read, and they choose to watch/read things based off of what they think that they will enjoy. This means that ratings are likely to be high for everything.

A way to fix this would be to require people to have an average rating of 5 or 2.5 throughout their ratings, a required curve for their ratings to be added to the public consensus.

My trick for judging things on Goodreads ratings is to treat 2.5 as 0 and 5 as 5, and for imdb I treat 5 as 0 and 10 as 10.

I've had heavy involvement with the Seattle EM scene, and this music is so fucking immaculately trendy I'm impressed. The only thing that stretches that is maybe their use of a reggae kick/snare pattern for part of the song, as it's become a little bit over-saturated in the scene in the last fifteen years, but otherwise, they nailed what's going on in popular EM.

There are a lot of crystal-clear indicators that our society is built poorly on an unsustainable system with the idea that you can generally do whatever the fuck you want and live a decent life because there are a shitload of children who are going to be born after you that will saturate the economy and pay for your social security and what not.

'cept our population is leveling out, though a good thing in the long run(world's overpopulated), parts of our economic model are starting to fail miserably.

Best things to do are either work at sitting on top of it through being better at something that magnets cash than most other people, or to reject society altogether and be Diogenes. Dirty kids/Rainbow kids are the consistently happiest people I've ever met. They mooch off people, travel wherever they want, do whatever they want, and generally just fuck and do drugs all of the time. Rejecting society is an option that not many consider, though I'm more interested in trying to cheat my way into getting published with easily accessible YA fantasy/science fiction personally.

The worst thing you could do is complain while being a slave-wage. That's an unfulfilled life in the making.

The Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ and The Holy Ghost are three separate entities.

Heavenly Father is both the creator and the sustainer. Jesus Christ is the head of our church and the disciple of our ideology, and The Holy Spirit is the divine teacher, though we admittedly know less of the details surrounding this figure, we shall learn more in the kingdoms after death.

the third testament is considered historical and literal, and the direct word of god. It is the most important of the three testaments in this modern day and age, by far.

The first and second are known to have been manipulated throughout history, and though the word of god shines through, it has been warped by man, and therefore should only be taken allegorically.
