Poetry: don’t know enough about it to have much of an opinion.
Literature: There’s too much that I have not read. My favorites thus far are known
Painting: So many to choose from. Lets says Alphonse Mucha, František Kupka, Max Ernst,
Sculpture: Antonio Canova, Michelangelo, don’t know enough
Music: Many many many. Just a list of genres would take up a lot space. Björk, Dead Can Dance, Debussy, Prokofiev, Sibelius, Moondog,
Theater/opera: Have seen very little of either
Cinema: the usual suspects. Kubrick, Welles, Hitchcock, Kurosawa, but also Varda, Henson, Miyazaki and Kon
Television: I don’t see it as a different medium from cinema. It’s smaller, interrupted with ads and often very low effort, but it’s capable of the same things cinema does.
Comic Books is manga. Anime is “western Cartoons”. Same medium, different styles.
Video Games: Haven’t played much of any of them (since the old Atari)
Webcomics: don’t follow any really. Kate Beaton
