Reminder that if you use any of these phrases (or similar):
>word-salad
>pseudo-intellectual
>pretentious waffle
>pomo gibberish
>purple prose
>etc. etc.
In lieu of actual substantial criticism of what an author wrote, then your words are just as hollow as you make theirs out to be. Too many posters on this board will attack a writer for using complex or atypical language without ever making any specific references to the text and highlighting where and why the incoherence arises. It’s lazy academic practise and you should feel bad.
