Random? Hey! I've been low-key shilling that charming bit of sci-fi at least once a month.

Speaking of shilling, that anon who shilled the Ten Very Big Books (Malazan readthrough) podcast last December did indeed have a good recommendation. I even ordered the two collections of the Tales of Bauchelain & Korbal Broach because of it.

You got a bit carried away with your mass reply there, bud. You had no cause to reply to me, someone who sometimes recommends lesser-known books, such as Europe in Autumn by Dave Hutchinson.

There are fantasy books based on my corner of the Baltic as far as I know, though they aren't as well known in "the West" if they're translated. I would recommend checking out The Man Who Spoke Snakish.

While it is true that the site requires a registration to download the torrent files, I haven't done so. There are sites like bugmenot that share logins for sites. I 'borrow' an account from there. Plus, it seems so far that the policy here in Estonia is not to go after ordinary torrent users.
But audiobookbay has helped me out with many sff audiobooks.

Speaking of Estonia, anyone here managed to find some Estonian sff to read? There's an active community with many writers here, but not much has been translated into English. Only Kivirähk's Man Who Spoke Snakish comes to mind.
